Liz McGuinness

Liz is Chief Operating Officer at Shopthru, the commerce tech company enabling instant, in-content shopping for some of the UK’s biggest publishers. With a 20+ year career spanning global financial services, high-growth scale-ups and operational consulting, Liz brings a unique blend of commercial rigour and deep operational expertise to every challenge she takes on.

Her early career began at American Express, where she progressed from frontline customer service to Vice President of Global Operational Consulting and launching and scaling a £12M revenue line inside two years. Since then, she’s advised and operated at the heart of scaling businesses, including five years as COO at fintech scale-up Bink, where she helped grow the company from 20 to 90 people and led major bank and retailer integrations.

Liz thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments where clarity, pace and people matter. She’s passionate about building teams that deliver and delivering experiences that work for customers, partners and internal teams alike. She brings calm to chaos, structure to strategy, and always puts people at the heart of what she does. 

 

Co-founding The C-Suite Squad was a natural extension of her belief in community and connection. 

 

Outside of work, Liz lives on the south coast with two kids and a miniature labradoodle! 

Hannah is Chief People and Culture Officer at Haiilo – the top-rated social intranet and employee communications platform. With over 20 years of experience in senior People roles across global corporates and high-growth start-ups, she brings a rare blend of commercial acumen and deep HR expertise from both consulting and in-house roles.

Hannah’s early career began in luxury hospitality, shaping and executing the people strategy for a world-renowned, five-star multinational hotelier. She has since built and transformed People functions in scaling businesses, and led large, complex restructures and turnaround programmes. As HR Director at American Express, she played a pivotal global leadership role in the separation and transformation of its Global Business Travel division into a private equity-backed standalone entity.

She thrives in partnering with leadership teams to create structure and clarity from ambiguity, and is passionate about designing compelling, practical employee value propositions that fit the unique size and stage of each business and always with a focus on delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Hannah brings warmth, clarity and purpose to her work, with a clear mission: to create high-performing, people-centric environments that are not only commercially successful, but genuinely enjoyable to be part of. A natural connector, she takes great pride in bringing people together across her professional and personal networks, The C-Suite Squad is one way she’s bringing that to life at scale.

Outside of work, Hannah is a wife, mum to two young daughters, and the proud curator of a famously lively social calendar. She understands the juggle, and champions others doing the same.
